Webcomic Rampage!

Didn't have time to go to the webcomic convention yesterday due to visiting apartments for next year, so I went today.

The panel was excellent, if a bit disturbing. I don't think all of the artists were quite sober.

Among those present: Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content (which I read semi-religiously since last fall), Danielle Corsetto of Girls With Slingshots (which I always save for last because it's quite possibly my absolute favorite), Joel Watson of HijinksEnsue (which I keep on having to reread due to not getting the reference the first time, but it turns out he intends it to be that way), Randy Milholland of Something*Positive (which several of my friends follow avidly), Scott Kurtz of Player vs. Player (which Bookish Friend absolutely loves), K.C. Green of Gunshow (which, uh, I didn't know of until now), Josh Lesnick of Girly (same), and Bill Williams of Side Chicks and Angel (ditto. But they all looked like really nice people!).

Interestingly enough, I got seven sketches from five artists, but only one of them was for me. Here it is! (Faye from Questionable Content)

Talk about different generations. I'd never even heard of webcomics. Although if I'd ever given it any thought I'd have been able to work out that their existence was inevitable.

I'm now too scared to go and look at any in case I actually want to look at them again. And how would I ever alter my life to make the time?
