Highly Selective Science Program is off to Observatory In The Mountains for the weekend. The drive is eight hours, the town remote and sparsely populated, and the view stunning.
I once spent a week camping in those mountains with my seventh-grade Space Science class, observing Jupiter and Saturn, exploring caverns, and attending a very boring lecture about Sun spots.
I am quite excited about this trip. I will bring back pictures!
