It's official, summer is here: we had the highest temperatures so far this year today.
Officially, 38°C, and not a cloud on the horizon. Inside the University, it's probably several degrees higher. The whole week is going to be like that.
It feels like you are stepping into an oven when you walk out of a cool and air-conditioned building. The heat radiates off the pavement while the sun beats from above, leaving no stone uncooked.
It could be worse. At least it's not muggy.
