Sunday night

I decided that I couldn't take yet another loop of my roommate listening to Britney and singing along (there is only one set of circumstances in which I will listen to Britney Spears, and that is by a group of German guys singing a capella and dancing along), so I got up, took a shower, put on my pretty dress, and am leaving for an Itzhak Perlman performance in fifteen minutes.

Looks like, despite the concert I missed last semester in City Back Home, I will still get to see him perform.

Once-in-a-lifetime twice in the same year!

In my earlier life I was fortunate enough to see some of the greats in the 'classical' music world. Wonderful moments. Everything has its price. That was a benefit of City life. 35 years on a Scottish Hebridean Island has other rewards. I suspect that it's a lifestyle you will never experience.
