Lions and tigers and ...funding? Oh my!

We presented our research today and the paper is due Wednesday morning.

So it's all over.

...Or is it?

Because I was just offered funding to finish the research in the hopes of getting actual results, aside from the research stream I will be following for the next two semesters.

My very own funding so I can publish my very own paper.

I will be conducting two projects side-by-side, which is suicide. The first will be guided, the second will wander into the uncharted territory of cutting-edge-research. I will not sleep for another year, but it doesn't matter. I'm in geek heaven.
