The difference between a moose and a camel is...

I went to the Madrigal Dinner instead of my Ochem test, and it was awesome.

I learned many very dirty songs, one of them about a moose. And I got to eat good bread, almost real baguette. I miss eating bread with my meals... Also, ninjas? In a Renaissance court? Awesome, if slightly random.

Also, I learned that Americans celebrate Christmas with mistletoe. Personally, I think that's strange. Holly has always been the Christmas plant for me, and mistletoe has always been for kissing underneath at midnight on New Year's. Au gui l'an neuf, like we say.

I know, we're only in November. But what's wrong with starting the Christmas cheer a bit early?

(OK, fine.)

But I still want to burst forth into rapturous "Adeste Fideles" and light a candle carousel. And make bûche. And wrap gifts... I do love to wrap gifts.

That's enough Yuletide merriment for now.
