Game Over

For the fourth and last time, we ran the PCR process on our lovingly purified, processed, and prepared DNA samples, and then ran a gel.

Three hours in the lab. One little minute for the machine to bathe the fruit of our labor in a heavenly UV glow.

And then the verdict: negative.

Nothing.

Zilch.

The PCR did not work. Our DNA samples were obliterated.

And we have no time left to figure out WHAT went wrong. Again.

So, we are going to have a very, very short results section and a very, very long discussion explaining why it didn't work.

At least, we don't have to worry about the lab part of the paper anymore...

I'm down, but not out. We shall overcome?
